Rachael is a safety psychologist with 25 years’ experience in human factors and safety culture in the aviation and energy sectors. After completing her PhD at Aberdeen University in human factors incident investigation systems in the oil and gas industry, she was a Human Factors Expert at EUROCONTROL in air traffic management. She has undertaken safety culture surveys across European Air Navigation Service Providers, as well as a regional airline in Kenya. She is currently involved in human factors assessments of new systems in ATM and is developing training on Stress and Fatigue Management as a freelance consultant.
